The 8123 Sessions: Sweet Talker "This Is War"

A Note from Kevin Fisher of Sweet Talker: Hello all, Kevin from Sweet Talker here. About a month ago some good friends and myself shot a performance video of my new single "This Is War." The video was shot by Chee Tram in our very own 8123 office. That morning I woke up early and transformed Tim Kirch's office into the setting you see inside the video. The performance started out as a drum machine, Austin Gibbs on bass, Trey Nickelsen on lead guitar, Matt Nasty on keys, and myself on rhythm guitar and vocals. However, to my excitement we were fortunate enough to add Kennedy Brock on guitar and Garrett "Karaoke Destroyer" Nickelsen on drums. The performance is quite the departure from the recorded version, but in a good way. I wanted to incorporate a Fleetwood Mac type of feel to show a more emotional stripped down aspect of the song. We shot the performance about 5 or 6 times and had a blast. I can't thank the guys enough for making this video so special, I couldn't be happier and only hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
