Hoping on the flight to Italy. I can not ever fall asleep on these
long flights so I end up just looking around the airplane for hours on
end.
The deluxe version of Pioneer came out in Europe/UK while we were over
here! I love the way the art and packaging looks. Very colorful

Guest Blog: The Phoenix Art Museum
Hey, this is Jenni. For the last few months I have spent my Wednesday nights attending Free Admission night at the Phoenix Art Museum (http://www.phxart.org/.) Every exhibit I have seen there has been impressive, but one in particular keeps me going back for more. The "Paper!" Exhibit (http://www.phxart.org/exhibition/paper.php) aims to explore all the many artistic usages of paper over time, and it's role in both single and three dimensional artistic works. The exhibit has some interactive elements to it as well, inviting people to use sticky notes to express their favorite usage of paper, suggestions on other mediums to include, and what the exhibit meant to them. Reading these sticky notes is always my favorite part of the trip. Sadly the exhibit will be gone by next Wednesday, but I do have the upcoming "Modern Spirit: Fashion of the 1920's" exhibit (http://www.phxart.org/exhibition/modernspirit.php) to look forward to!

Tim Kirch: Favorite (recent) photos by Dirk Mai
Hello everyone, I have been working on an awesome new project with Dirk Mai and 8123. Our goal is to create a platform for aspiring photographers that will help them create, share, and promote their art. I love working with creatives on a daily basis, I am excited to launch a platform that will help young artists turn their hobbies into a career.
In the process, I was looking over Dirk's blog, I thought I would share some of my favorite photo's that Dirk has taken over the past year. I have been working with Dirk for a few years now, I love how he can capture such raw and real moments through his lens.
Check out Dirk's website www.dirkmai.com for more of his photos/videos!
More information on the Dirk Mai and 8123 collaboration coming soon!

The Maine: Tour Update from Kennedy
Hello Peoples of this world!
It's been a fun trip so far in Europe! We stared out in Italy and
Spain, both of which I've never been to, and found out there are many
wonderful fans that have been waiting for us! Germany was awesome as
well, although we had to leave cologne a little early on our off day.
Apparently the police found a bomb from world war two, that needed to
be defused, so we decided it was best to keep movin!

The Maine: Garrett's Film Blog
On our North American tour in the summer of 2012 I started using a film camera to capture random moments through my day. I had no prior knowledge on film photography and these photos are me learning how to use a camera. Not every photo is in focus or the lighting on most aren't even close to correct but each photo tells a story. In a world where anyone can capture anything they want with the ease of pulling out there phone, film really pushes you to capture the perfect moment. Non of these photos were digitally touched up at all. You can't take a 100 pictures of one thing and then go back a delete all the bad ones. You must time everything perfect because you only get one chance. You can't instantly look at what you happened to capture you must wait till you go and get your film developed. That is the my favorite part of film because once you get your photos back it's almost like time traveling back to the moment you took it. On tour so much happens every single day and you are somewhere new it's hard not to forget the random moments throughout the day. Film has given me the ability to relive times that over years could have disappeared. Well I hope you enjoy these photos and maybe make you interested in getting a film camera for yourself.
